Wichita Chapter Meeting - Intermediate / Advanced Alignment Diagnostics

This course is designed for experienced technicians looking to expand their diagnostic capabilities.

We will focus on identifying and correcting alignment issues in vehicles that deviate from factory specifications, including modified or problem vehicles.

Classroom instruction will cover diagnostic alignment angles and geometry such as steering axis inclination (SAI), included angle (IA), setback, scrub radius, turning angle, maximum steering angle, and symmetry measurements. Participants will use alignment printouts to practice analyzing these angles and uncovering the root causes of alignment concerns.

In the shop, participants will apply these advanced concepts using a Hunter Alignment System to measure and evaluate diagnostic angles. This hands-on portion of the training provides real-world experience diagnosing complex alignment issues and developing more precise, effective repair strategies. Ideal for technicians ready to move beyond basic adjustments, this course builds the confidence and skill needed to accurately diagnose and resolve even the most challenging alignment conditions.
