Create a Safety Culture for a Competitive Edge
Training presented by Bob Medved, S/P2
Helping protect the health and safety of employees should be a major priority. One of the major concerns young people have today when considering a career in the automotive trades is the environment in which they will be working. Old stereotypes of the industry still cause many to believe it is a dirty, unsafe environment. That fact, coupled with today’s youth who are more safety and environmentally conscious, makes it extremely difficult for auto service and collision repair facilities to recruit new young talent.
Costs associated with workplace injuries can be high. When considering loss of productivity, workers comp claims, and potential business interruption resulting from an accident, can you really afford not to have a safety plan in place?
Learn some of the common failures shops make when approaching safety and pollution prevention in the workplace. Testing the audience's knowledge on OSHA and EPA regulations will accompany the presentation along with true accounts of events that could have been avoided.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about keeping you and your employees safe, and reducing your liability risks.
