In the advanced tutorial several real world oscilloscope waveform captures will be presented. These waveforms will include tests that involve using an array of different scope accessories, to help automotive diagnostics technicians pinpoint the cause of an engine misfire. Attendees will also learn how to verify if the Powertrain Control Module's OBD II system is actually identifying the correct cylinder during misfire analysis. This presentation will cover a variety of testing methods & tactics, including using 'pulse' waveform analysis. Attendees will even learn how to build their very own 'pulse' probe.
