This class is part 1 of an ongoing series of oscilloscope classes that will be delivered in a live vehicle setting.

This live car class is designed to familiarize the technician with scope foundations, such as the selection and use of the proper probe for the desired capture. Setting the channels up properly when it comes to voltage settings, time bases, the importance of sample rates and AC or DC coupling and what are the benefits of both. Learn about the different types of triggers, slope and how and when to use them to your ad-vantage. Learn to take advantage of the filtering and measurement capabilities of your scope.

Learn different ways to connect to a circuit or connector for proper signal acquisition without causing harm to terminals or circuits.
